Komatireddy venkat Reddy, a member of the telangana congress party, is not in a rush to jump over the barricade and join the bharatiya janata party right now. He wants to delay making a choice in order to keep the group on the ropes. In the midst of rumours that he will join the bjp, Komatireddy met prime minister Narendra Modi on friday at his office in parliament in New Delhi. He said, however, that he did not talk politics with the prime minister following the 20-minute encounter.

He claimed that he had just spoken about a few matters pertaining to his seat and Nalgonda, his home district. In order to minimise accidents, he added, "I have requested the availability of monies for the cleaning of the Musi River, one of the most polluted rivers in the world." According to Komatireddy, the meeting was extremely friendly, and Modi responded favourably to his presentation. It should be noted that the Bhongir mp has been absent from congress party events for a considerable amount of time.

Even the Bharat Jodo yatra led by Congressman rahul gandhi in telangana in october and november he did not participate in. Despite being the telangana PCC's top campaigner, he did not support the party during the by-election for the Munugode assembly seat last month, in which his younger brother Komatireddy Rajagopal reddy ran on a bjp ticket after leaving the Congress. None of the party committees that the high command created on saturday last had the name of the congress MP. The congress high leadership served the leader with a show-cause notice in october after he made comments against the party and backed his brother in the Munugode by-election.
