The Dunki teaser has finally arrived, and it appears to have revealed the destiny of Vicky Kaushal's character. Following the publication of the teaser, some social media users speculated on Vicky's death. Although it wasn't evident at the time, the trailer appears to have verified the notion. The teaser introduces everyone's personalities, including Vicky's Sukhi, through Shah Rukh's character Hardayal Singh Dhillon. He claims that Sukhi spent the most of his time learning english in order to travel to England.

The clip, however, takes a nasty turn. Sukhi's application to england is denied, and an enraged Vicky lashes out. We are soon given a funeral scenario. taapsee pannu and boman irani are among the prominent and supporting actors. Vicky is clearly absent, implying his death. An emotional Shah Rukh is shown delivering a speech, indicating that the film would take a dramatic turn from this point forward.

During an interview with bollywood Hungama, Vicky discussed her involvement in the film. "This is a dream come true." Unko milna hi dream hota hai, unke saath kaam karna to socho kitna bada dream hota hai. (Meeting him is a dream come true, so picture how big it was to work with Shah Rukh). That, too, in conjunction with Raju sir directing you," he stated, referring to his collaboration with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.
