Tollywood has friendly connections with Telangana's former kcr administration. During the kcr government, it was simpler for blockbuster films to gain ticket price increases and additional shows. But telangana now has a new chief minister, revanth Reddy. Salaar is, by the way, the first major film to be released in telangana after revanth took over as Chief Minister. Finally, Mythri distributors, who are releasing Salaar in Nizam, have asked for extra ticket price increases for the film.

Another factor to note here is that the film industry was relatively reserved in its support for revanth Reddy's government. tollywood, except for a few actors, did not wish revanth in the same manner it wished kcr in 2018. Things might get heated if revanth considers this and decides to take a stand against the industry. But if he decides to ignore this little detail, he should have an easier time.

We'll get a sense of Revanth's attitude towards the film business depending on how he handles the Salaar crisis. If he agrees on the ticket raise request quickly, it might suggest he has nothing against the business, which is precisely what tollywood is looking for.
