It is said that Pinnelli ramakrishna Reddy, the Macharla mla of the last 10 years, wants to bring his brother Pinneli Venkatarami reddy into the political field from Sattenapalli. Pinnelli has taken advantage of the protests in the Sattenapalli segment against Ambati Rambabu. Notably, Sattenapalli leaders are vocally opposing minister Ambati Rambabu, voicing concerns at the YSRCP top command with their "We don't want Ambati" campaign.

There are now claims of internal party tensions as a result of the growing opposition to minister Ambati, which is encouraging a "divide and rule" tactic. Senior officials are pulling away from the minister, and dissenting opinions are speculating that Ambati might not get a party ticket in the next elections. To ascertain the favored candidate and assess the popular mood in Sattenapalli, the YSRCP high command launched a phone survey.

The main accusations leveled against Ambati include corruption, disregard for activists and second-tier leaders, and the effects of illicit mining on the area, which resulted in the redrawing of town lines. The phone survey indicates that Sattenapalli's opposition to Ambati has grown, suggesting that the minister's popularity is eroding. According to the survey findings, providing Ambati with a ticket may result in his losing his seat.

As a result, it appears that YSRCP officials are beginning to believe that it would be best to refuse Ambati Rambabu a ticket. Residents were asked which candidate they preferred for the next elections—Pinnelli or Ambati Rambabu—as part of the study. Following the formal news that Ambati Rambabu may not get a ticket, the constituency began talking about possible next steps when it was discovered that a sizable majority of voters preferred Pinnelli over Ambati Rambabu.
