The newly released malayalam movie Premalu turned become a sleeper success. The movie is a young entertainment that takes place in Hyderabad. After lucifer and Manjummel Boys (2018), Premalu became the fourth most grossing movie in malayalam history with a global box office performance of 100 crores. It was also released in telugu due to its success in Malayalam. The movie received favourable reviews in this country as well, making it the highest-grossing Telugu-dubbed malayalam movie. At first, the movie faced competition from Bhima and Gaami, two telugu films, but it managed to withstand the odds. SS Karthikeya, the famous telugu director S.S. Rajamouli's son, distributed Premalu. In telugu, it has brought in around 15 crores in revenue globally. The total revenue has also surpassed the 125 crore level.
 
This is an amazing accomplishment for a comedic entertainment movie on a tight budget. Viewers have eagerly anticipating its re-release on streaming services. It was repeatedly rescheduled. However, it's now locked. On april 12, Premalu will be available for streaming in telugu, Tamil, and malayalam on the OTT behemoth Disney+Hotstar.
