Medical and fire services personnel are presently stationed at the site, and efforts to clear the motorway for the trial run are underway. Scheduled to occur on monday night, the test will necessitate the diversion of vehicles from the national highway during that time. Sukhoi fighter aircraft and the light combat aircraft tejas are expected to participate in this emergency landing exercise.

Initiated in 2020 with an allocated budget of Rs 119 crore, the construction required for this emergency landing test has been underway. Additionally, the traffic department has issued an advisory prohibiting heavy motor vehicles (HMV) on the highway from 4 am on monday until 7 am on Tuesday.
