In the eastern section of the district, the telugu Desam coalition is seeing favorable winds. Despite Jagan's power in the area, the tdp won four assembly seats in the last election. The tdp and YSRCP candidates in the Ongole, Kondepi, and SN Paadu seats will compete in a prestigious election as a result of the alliance between janasena and the bjp this time. In all three seats, the partnership seems to hold promise.

The most notable quality of tdp nominee Damachrala Janardhan's record as an mla in Ongole is his efforts as a developmentalist. On the other hand, however, five years of alleged chaos and land grabbing have clouded the future of YSRCP candidate Balineni. Over this time, Ongole has been beset by attacks and land grabs involving the son of mla Balineni and his allies.

To handle the widespread land grabs, the government was forced to step in and form a Special Investigation Team (SIT). Furthermore, Balineni finds it uncomfortable that Praneet Reddy, her son, is the subject of accusations of misbehavior, land grabbing, and financial irregularities. Statewide indignation has been sparked by the extensively reported abuse of arya Vaishya community member Subbarao Gupta.

Balineni's difficulties have also been exacerbated by the lack of plans for a freshwater scheme and the completion of the Poturaju Canal project. In Ongole Rural Mandal, TDP's advantage is growing, while in Kottapatnam Mandal, there are signs that YSRCP could lose the majority.

Even though the YSRCP candidate who won had a 23,000 vote edge, janasena, running on her own, received up to 10,000 votes in the last assembly elections. Employees and the Kapu community, two groups that have historically supported the YSRCP, have showed indications of turning against the party. TDP's chances have been further enhanced by the middle class's and business owners' growing discontent. Additionally, around 20,000 arya Vaishyas and other traders support TDP. It is evident from all of these occurrences that Balineni may have lost the election.
