Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), Dhanush's third directing endeavor, debuted in theaters on february 21 and has drawn mixed reviews from reviewers and viewers alike. The film stars newcomers Pavish and Anikha Surender in the key roles.  Although the film has received excellent reviews, many viewers have criticized newcomer Pavish's acting in NEEK, saying that he was unconvincing and had a sluggish performance.

Additionally, it is evident that some social media users have questioned dhanush about why he chose Pavish to play a key role and whether he is condoning nepotism given that Pavish is his nephew.  Every performer in the film, with the exception of Pavish, gave it their all, and Mathew Thomas and ramya Ranganathan have even received high praise for their roles.

Even though Pavish is a first-time actor, he ought to have worked a little more since, despite being the lead in a promising production, he gave a lackluster performance. Some kollywood viewers claim that the film's mediocre reviews are mostly due to Pavish's easy acting. Pavish hasn't signed any projects as of yet, so we'll have to wait and see how his acting career develops.
