Pahalgam Terror Attack: Security agencies are on alert after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The NIA team may go to pahalgam on wednesday for investigation. The home minister will hold a security review meeting in Srinagar.

Jammu kashmir Terror Attack

 Terrorists attacked a group of tourists on tuesday (22 april 2025) in pahalgam, a major tourist destination in South Kashmir. Two to three terrorists in police uniform fired more than 50 rounds at the tourists. According to sources, more than 28 people are feared dead in this terrorist attack.


Security agencies are on alert after this attack. The NIA team may go to Pahalgam on wednesday (23 april 2025). Meanwhile, home minister amit shah spoke to prime minister Narendra Modi over the phone and informed him about this attack. After talking to the PM, home minister amit shah called an emergency meeting and then left for Srinagar.


Prime minister Narendra Modi is currently on a tour of Saudi Arabia. He has talked about strict action by posting on X. PM Modi said, "Those who are behind this heinous act will be brought to justice...they will not be spared. Their evil agenda will never succeed."


The attack took place at around 3 pm when the terrorists came down from the mountain in the Baisaran Valley and started firing on the tourists there. This place is called mini Switzerland because of its long green meadows. A video of the place of attack has surfaced in which many people are seen lying unconscious on the ground, soaked in blood, while women tourists are crying and looking for their loved ones.


The home minister posted on X that he had informed the prime minister about the incident and held a meeting with the concerned officials through video conference. He has described this terrorist attack as bigger than any attack on civilians in recent years.
