Game Changer has proven to be one of ram Charan's greatest disasters after nearly three years of production. A financial and emotional setback resulted from his and producer dil Raju's entire faith in filmmaker Shankar. The majority of people are aware that karthik Subbaraj, the filmmaker, came up with the original plot idea for Game Changer. Prior to the film's premiere, he declared with pride that telling a story to a renowned filmmaker like shankar was an enormous honor.

However, karthik is now making a different statement in support of his upcoming movie Retro, which opens on May 1.  He claims that with the assistance of other authors, the script underwent significant changes after he simply contributed a simple one-line notion about a grounded IAS official.  Additionally, he stated that filmmakers must accept the opinions of their audience and that no one has influence over box office results.

Fans took note of this abrupt shift in his tone. They want to know why he didn't announce this prior to the movie's release. After the failure, he is backing off from his earlier claims that the story was his, which has angered Mega followers. Furthermore, shankar had complete control over the movie. According to certain sources, dil Raju, the producer, was not entirely involved in the later phases.  Perhaps karthik was unaware of the extent to which his notion had evolved.
