New Delhi: prime minister Narendra Modi on tuesday said that the country has now entered what he described as the “Reform Express” phase, indicating that the government will push forward with accelerated economic and administrative reforms in the coming months.

Speaking at the NDA parliamentary party meeting, the prime minister urged alliance MPs to remain fully focused on two key priorities: the upcoming West bengal elections and the preparation for the Union Budget. He emphasized that both these events hold significant national importance and require the collective effort and discipline of all members.

Modi highlighted that the government’s reform agenda is aimed at speeding up development, improving governance, and strengthening the economy. He called on MPs to communicate these efforts effectively to citizens and ensure that the benefits of government policies reach the grassroots.

Turning attention to the political landscape, the prime minister said that West bengal will be a crucial battleground and encouraged MPs to engage actively with the electorate, understand local issues, and support organizational work on the ground.

Regarding the forthcoming Budget, Modi stressed that it would reflect the government's commitment to long-term growth, fiscal stability, and welfare-oriented initiatives. He asked MPs to provide constructive input and align their efforts with the broader national goals.
