For Tollywood, the summer of 2025 is proving to be a huge catastrophe. Sarangapani Jathakam, Chaurya Paatam, and the dubbed movie alappuzha Gymkhana will all be released in one weekend. There are no minimum attendance requirements for these three films, and the public has overwhelmingly rejected them. priyadarshi recently achieved a huge hit with Court, but Sarangapani Jathakam, his next movie, did not do well at the box office. 

 A number of well-known actors, including vennela Kishore, srinivas Avasarala, and Viva Harsha, played important parts in the film, which was directed by Mohankrishna Indraganti. Due to the lack of interest, Trinadha Rao Nakkina supported a short film called Chaurya Paatam, and its screenings have been canceled.  Alappuzha Gymkhana, a malayalam film distributed by Mythri movie Makers, garnered positive reviews despite its dismal box office performance.  Telugu cinema also had a terrible ending to this weekend. 

Early on sunday morning, malayalam filmmaker Khalid rahman was taken into custody in kochi for possessing hybrid ganja.  Ashraf Hamza, a filmmaker, was also arrested with him.  The inquiry is still ongoing, even though the two were eventually released on station bail for possessing a little amount. Now due to this arrest, the Box-Office prospects of the telugu version has even more decreased.
