India successfully achieved its military, political, and psychological objectives through Operation Sindoor, top government sources told. The operation, which unfolded in response to the pahalgam terror attack, has signalled a strategic shift in India’s handling of hostilities with pakistan, according to the sources.
The military objective was fulfilled with precise strikes on terror camps in Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Muzaffarabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was quoted by the sources as having said, “We will reduce them to dust; the Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Muzaffarabad camps have been reduced to dust.”
In a strong diplomatic move, the Indus Waters Treaty was linked to the issue of cross-border terrorism. india has decided to keep the treaty in abeyance until terrorism emanating from across the border ceases.
sources emphasised that a clear psychological message was sent to Pakistan. “We will hit them by entering their territory—we struck deep into their hearts. We have been very successful,” a source quoted PM Modi as saying.
'Operation Sindoor Is Not Over; We Are In The New Normal'
Describing the aftermath of the strikes on Pakistan’s air bases, the sources said that pakistan has now realised it is “not in this league”. They added: “A clear message was given by India: no one is safe; this is the new normal.”
"There was a gap between technical and military application, the difference between india and pakistan was massive, Pakistan realised they were not in that league. India attacked at will, and most of Pakistan's attacks were foiled. pakistan should have no doubt," quoted sources as stating.
The sources reiterated that Operation Sindoor is ongoing. “If they fire, we will fire. If they attack, we will attack,” they quoted them as saying. They added that prime minister Modi gave unambiguous instructions: “If a bullet is fired from their side, a shell will be fired from ours.” The turning point, they noted, was the indian attack on Pakistan’s air bases.
The sources confirmed that there were no discussions between the National Security Advisors or the Foreign Ministers of both countries. Communication was limited to the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs), ANI reported.
Referring to a report in, sources stated that prime minister Modi told US Vice President JD Vance that “if pakistan does something, our response will be even more devastating and stronger.” On the same night, pakistan reportedly attacked 26 sites, prompting a strong retaliatory response from India.
India Will Hit At Headquarters, Won’t Go After Small Camps': New Delhi's Big Message
The message india conveyed after hitting terror camps in Muridke and Bahawalpur, which are closely tied with the ISI, is that we have not lost sight and we will hit you at the headquarters. We will not go after small camps, ANI sources said.
India made it clear to the world that we cannot equate victims and perpetrators, they added.
The attacks were carried out with precision. The runway of Rahim Yar Khan airbase (in Pakistan) was flattened, sources told ANI. Pakistan air Force Base Nur Khan, situated in Chaklala, was also hit badly, they said.
Return Of Pok The Only Pending Matter; We Don't Need Anyone To Mediate'
"We have a very clear position on kashmir, there is only one matter left- the return of Pakistan-Occupied kashmir (PoK). There is nothing else to talk about. If they talk about handing over terrorists, we can talk. We don't have…
