“Set an Example by Relinquishing Power in Telangana”: BJP’s Sharp Rebuttal to congress Over Vote Rigging Claims
Union minister B. Sanjay Kumar strongly countered the congress party’s allegations of vote rigging, calling them baseless and politically motivated.
He challenged congress to prove its sincerity by relinquishing power in telangana and Karnataka, states where congress governments were formed under the same election Commission, voter lists, and Constitution.
Sanjay Kumar stated that congress cannot celebrate democracy when it wins and question its legitimacy when it loses, calling such conduct hypocritical.
Taking aim at Rahul Gandhi, Sanjay Kumar accused him of misleading the nation by presenting arguments rooted in falsehoods while claiming to defend truth.
He said that rahul Gandhi’s narrative against prime minister Narendra Modi’s government lacked substance and was designed only to confuse the public.

Referring to comments by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Sanjay Kumar explained that the term “Shakti” (energy or power) was used in a civilizational and philosophical context, not a political one.
He criticized rahul Gandhi for reducing a deep cultural and spiritual concept into a political controversy, calling it a reflection of his weak understanding of indian culture, language, and science.
Quoting prime minister Modi, Sanjay Kumar said that those who attempt to attack “Shakti” ultimately harm themselves, indirectly warning the congress against misinterpreting cultural symbols.
He emphasized that hinduism cannot be understood through a “quick briefing”, and that shakti is not equivalent to a “gaddi” (throne or political power).
The Union minister further accused congress of engaging in deliberate fear-mongering, alleging that the party had earlier spread false claims about the abolition of reservations.
He said congress is now spreading new fears by claiming that voter verification exercises could lead to loss of Aadhaar cards, ration cards, land, or property, which he termed completely untrue.
Sanjay Kumar concluded that such tactics reflect Congress’s desperation and declining credibility, urging people to see through what he described as politics based on misinformation rather than facts.
