The indian Premier League (IPL), which was stopped on the 8th of this month due to tensions between india and pakistan, has been confirmed to start again. It is known that the match between punjab Kings and delhi Capitals in Dharamsala was called off last Thursday. It was the 58th match in the league. The league was postponed from Friday. Initially, it was planned to postpone the entire season, but finally, it was announced that it would be a week-long break. As tensions between india and pakistan subsided, reports emerged on saturday about the resumption of the league. The schedule was announced on monday night.
There are still 18 matches to be played in the league, including the playoffs and the final. The matches will be played from the 17th of this month. However, these will be played in only 6 venues. As was being said from the beginning, the new schedule was announced after consulting the central government. Matches will be played only in Bengaluru, Jaipur, delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad. According to the earlier schedule, the IPL, which started on march 22, was supposed to end on May 25. It will end on june 3 with an unexpected break in between. Qualifier-1 will be played on the 29th of this month, Eliminator on the 30th, Qualifier-2 on june 1, and the final on june 3. Although the venues for 13 league matches have been announced, the venues for the play-off matches have not been finalized. There will be doubleheaders on the 18th and 25th (two Sundays). The Punjab-Delhi match, which was stopped on the 8th, will also be held. Will it be complete, or from where it was stopped? It remains to be seen. This year's league started with a match between defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders and royal challengers Bangalore. The restart on the 17th (in Bengaluru) will also be with these. On the 18th, Rajasthan-Punjab will face off in Jaipur, and Delhi-Gujarat will face off in Delhi.

There are no league matches in hyderabad in the revised schedule. However, the venues for Qualifier 1, Eliminator, and Qualifier 2 have not been finalized. The final venue has not been announced either. With this, it is expected that one or two of these matches will be held in Uppal. If that happens, it will be a celebration for hyderabad fans. On the other hand, chennai has not been given a chance for league matches. Matches are not held on the grounds located in the north. So, even if chennai gets a chance for the playoffs and the final, it may get it.
