Within the film industry, the theater bandh problem has sparked heated debates. Following the publication of a strongly written letter by deputy chief minister pawan kalyan yesterday, this matter took a new turn. In it, he mockingly praised the film industry for the "return gift" and chastised them for failing to take the effort to meet with the chief minister even after a year in office. The letter soon became a topic of conversation.

Senior producer allu aravind responded by giving his viewpoint at a special press conference today.  He spoke about a number of significant issues, chief among them the continuous criticism of a group known as "Aa Naluguru," who are said to control the telugu cinema industry.

He is not a member of this so-called "Aa Naluguru," aravind adamantly declared.  “For the last fifteen years, people have been focusing on these four people, but I was never one of them,” he explained.  He added that, except from a share in AAA Cinemas in Hyderabad, he does not own any theaters in andhra pradesh or Telangana.  Less than 15 of his screens are leased in andhra pradesh, and he has no intention of renewing them anytime soon.

Speaking about the theater closure, aravind said it was careless to announce it just before a significant pawan kalyan release.  He also concurred with Pawan Kalyan's assertion that chandrababu naidu and the industry ought to have met much sooner.  "It was an error," he acknowledged.

Aravind stated repeatedly that he is not a member of any power group in response to a variety of press questions.  He clarified that extreme measures like closing theaters should only be implemented after all other possibilities have been explored.  "I didn't agree with how abruptly the decision was made, so I distanced myself from recent meetings," he stated. Now, everyone is waiting to see how other distributors and producers would react to Aravind's remarks.
