Following the devastating air india crash in ahmedabad that claimed more than 200 lives, a Vedic astrologer has provoked online fury by reviving old tweets that "predicted" an aviation disaster. On Thursday, Sharmishtha, who describes herself as an astrologer, expressed her sadness at the tragedy on X. She did, however, seem to connect the episode to her earlier astrological predictions.
"It is very unfortunate that we lost so many lives in air india crash in ahmedabad today," she posted. "Jupiter is yet to enter Ardra, and India's Mars Mahadasha is yet to begin, yet so much has already started… I'm unable to reply to everyone. Apologies for that. Om Shanti."
"The aviation industry will do better in 2025, and plane crash headlines may give us shock," she wrote in one of her previous posts, which was dated december 2024. Safety and security will be lacking while Jupiter is in the gemini sign of Mrigashira and Ardra.
A week prior to the tragedy, on june 5, another post mentioned forecasts of aviation growth and possible "destruction" in the sector.
