
US President donald trump has once again warned apple, one of the world's largest technology companies, that if its mobile phones are not made in the US, then heavy taxes will be imposed on it. President trump has said that he wants that mobile phones sold in the US should now be made on US soil, not in india or any other country. He said that if this does not happen, he will consider imposing an import duty of up to 25 percent on all mobile phones made outside the US, including Apple phones.

Apple's supplier company Foxconn has invested about Rs 20,000 crore in a factory spread over 300 acres in Devanahalli area of karnataka state of India. This factory is currently employing 8,000 people and by the end of the year the number of people working in it can reach 40,000. According to reports, india is moving towards becoming the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer by the end of 2025.
