The two countries signed four agreements in many areas including culture and traditional medicine. In the presence of Mahama, prime minister Modi said, "President Mahama and I have decided to give the status of a comprehensive partnership to bilateral relations." The prime minister said that both sides are unanimous on the fact that terrorism is the enemy of humanity and it was decided to further strengthen mutual cooperation to deal with this threat. Modi said, "We expressed gratitude for Ghana's cooperation in India's fight against terrorism."
