1. Dedicated Welfare Board to Be Formed

  • A new board will oversee policies for nomadic and denotified tribes, ensuring focused development and equal opportunities.


2. Housing and Colony Projects

  • Permanent housing colonies will be established to provide secure shelter for communities like Nat, Banjara, Bawariya, Kalbelia, Kanjar, Sapera, Sasi, and Jogi.


3. Recognition of Historical Struggles

  • CM yogi praised these communities as “brave warrior castes” who resisted foreign invasions.
  • Recalled their suffering under the 1871 criminal Tribes Act, which labeled them “born criminals” until Ambedkar’s reforms in 1952.

  • Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Schools operational in nine districts, with two more started recently.

  • Modelled on Shamli and Vantangiya development programs, the roadmap will focus on land leases, voting rights, education, and healthcare.
