Chennai: tamil Nadu has achieved an exceptional economic growth rate of 11.19 percent, a milestone that no other state in india has attained, said Chief minister M.K. Stalin with a sense of pride. He made this statement while addressing a seminar held in Chennai.
Speaking at the event, the chief minister highlighted that the remarkable growth reflects the success of the state government’s policies focused on inclusive development, industrial expansion, infrastructure growth, and social welfare. He noted that tamil Nadu’s performance stands out at the national level, demonstrating the state’s strong and resilient economy.
Stalin attributed the achievement to sustained investments in key sectors such as manufacturing, information technology, education, healthcare, and renewable energy, along with efficient governance and transparent administration. He emphasized that the growth was not confined to a single sector but was broad-based, benefiting both urban and rural regions.
The chief minister further stated that the government remains committed to ensuring that economic progress translates into improved living standards, employment opportunities, and social equity. He reiterated that tamil Nadu’s development model prioritizes both economic strength and social justice.
The seminar was attended by economists, policymakers, industry representatives, and academicians, who discussed tamil Nadu’s growth trajectory and future development strategies. The achievement, stalin said, reinforces tamil Nadu’s position as one of India’s leading states in economic and human development indicators.
