Adani airport Holdings on thursday stated it has terminated the floor handling concession agreements with Turkish company Celebi for the mumbai and ahmedabad airports.
The choice comes after the central government revoked the security clearance of Turkish floor-dealing employer Celebi NAS airport services, citing countrywide protection issues.
"Following the authorities of India's choice to revoke Celebi's protection clearance, we have terminated the ground coping with concession agreements with Celebi at Mumbai's Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj international airport (CSMIA) and Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai patel Global airport (SVPIA). Consequently, Celebi has been directed to immediately quit all floor handling centers to ensure uninterrupted operations," spokespersons for mumbai & ahmedabad Airports said in an assertion.
"We will keep providing seamless carrier to all airways without disruptions through new ground handling companies selected by means of it.
