After her 9-year-old brother objected to her speaking on her phone with a male friend, a 15-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh's Rae bareli district strangled him with an earphone cord. The occurrence occurred on thursday and was discovered on monday evening. On tuesday, the accused was committed to a youth detention center.
When her parents were not there, the girl would spend several hours on her phone, according to the police. A few days earlier, her younger brother complained to their parents about it, and the parents scolded the girl. When their parents were out of home on thursday, the girl began a phone conversation with a classmate.

The Dalmau police station in Rae bareli received details about a missing nine-year-old and immediately initiated a search for the boy.
“The next day, a foul odour began to emanate, and the girl's parents opened the house's storeroom to discover their son's body,” Shlok Kumar said. The victim's father also filed a called FIR against a neighbor who had already been arrested by the police.” Following further investigation, it was discovered that the neighbor was not near the crime scene at the time of the attack. The police then questioned anyone else was there that day, including family members.

“Family members were investigated when abrasions, bruises, and scratches on the body of the boy showed that a scuffle must have occurred between the deceased and the attacker,” according to the SP. All the present of the boy on that day were sampled by a medical and forensic team for analysis. A total of 25 samples were taken. Just the elder sister's stomach, neck, and hands had bruises, according to further analysis. The police interrogated the teenager in front of her parents and a child care official. She admitted to her crime and stated that she did not want to murder her brother. “  but he used to complain to her parents against her when she would talk to a male friend,” said Shlok Kumar.
