The Ambedkar university Delhi (AUD) on thursday announced the launch of new academic programs—a master's in political technology and a doctor of Literature (D.Litt)—for the 2025-26 instructional year, officials said. Making the announcement at a press convention, AUD Vice-Chancellor Anu Singh Lather additionally unveiled the university's admission brochure for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. "A total of 1,123 undergraduate and 1,491 postgraduate seats are on offer this year," she said. Highlighting the college's "inclusive" and "less expensive" schooling version, Lather stated, "Our charge is extraordinarily subsidized because the university is absolutely funded by way of the government.


We no longer charge any fees from SC, ST, or PwD college students. Over Rs 6.26 crore was spent last year on scholarships and pupil welfare schemes." The university is aligning its guides with the countrywide schooling coverage (NEP), emphasizing experiential learning, she said. "As a part of the NEP's consciousness on area paintings, our students are journeying to websites including Rakhigarhi (in Haryana) for sensible publicity," Lather said. The D.Litt. program is geared toward recognizing or nurturing extensive contributions in literature, humanities, social sciences, and design. Whilst regularly provided as an honorary diploma, it will likely be offered as an earned instructional program at AUD, Lather stated.
