Mumbai traffic police tweeted on its official twitter handle, 'It is not appropriate to sound the horn anywhere on your or my road. A public awareness campaign and implementation is expected on the streets of mumbai on 28th May 2022 from 5 to 7 pm on the occasion of 'No Honking Day'. He said that adequate traffic police will be deployed on the roads for the campaign. Traffic Rules: 2 hours 'no-honking'!!



Meanwhile, in a recent meeting, the mumbai police had requested the automobile manufacturers to reduce the horn noise as per the directions of the supreme court regarding noise pollution, an official said.

Horn levels are currently between 92 and 112 decibels, in violation of supreme court guidelines. This idea is the most welcoming note!!
