Tamil Nadu chief minister M. K. Stalin laid the foundation stone for a new hostel and training centre for ex-servicemen to be constructed at St. Thomas Mount. The project will be developed at an estimated cost of ₹35.45 crore.
The foundation stone ceremony was held at the Tamil Nadu Secretariat, where the chief minister launched the initiative aimed at improving facilities for former members of the armed forces from tamil Nadu.
