Story: Sets in british empire era.. One trying to bring their tribe kid abducted by british back into flock and the other trying to fulfil his promise to dead father and bring freedom to our country.. the paths they have chosen to achieve their goals and their transformation as complete leaders during the process forms rest of story.
Analysis: Neither a patriotic movie, nor a commercial star movie.. rrr makes you question and scratch your head about the genre of the movie.. while Bromance coined by SSR.. Isn’t really apt .. Bromance of venkatesh - Mahesh of Seethamma Vakitlo movie stand tall and strong than this RRR. rrr Trimble’s in setting the under current emotion and leaves audience with a feeling if incompleteness and missing. A strong emotional outcome which is the suite of rajamouli is dearly missed with confusing emotions and story moving across india without any change in tempo or mood of the movie. Ask - You - Get Crew, Cast, Budget, Almost free of cost publicity across PAN india could have been utilised better. rrr gives you goosebumps in few scenes and leaves you wonder about how come SS rajamouli cinema is like this by reminding many shades of Nagarjuna’s failed attempt as Rajanna.. Being telugu people who owns bheem and Alluri.. if this is what we feel we need to see how india embrace this story.. unlike bahubali which is a family dispute amongst kings within the kingdom which is universal across india or world but this rrr is certainly not quite as is .. The way english voice over / telugu voice over or interactions are quite disappointing there Is no uniformity.. With strong emotional movie such as KGF-2 around the corner rrr Future is uncertain. While the movie could continue to feed on SSR Glory and collect ton of money.. the respect SSR built for himself and telugu movie is slashed by half with this final near average outcome of RRR. Wishing the team good luck as the needs it .
Technical Department: Camera work has been brilliant as always in SSR films, CG/ VFX in long shot are good but in close up look pale .. reduced rrr to near-average movie. Dialogues are hardly any in rrr and only few register in your mind.. Costumes are a big let down of rrr, Production Design is great and Art work is alright. DI could have been a lot better. Editing could have been lot better. Weak / Confusing Story line is the key low aspect of RRR.
Cast: ram charan is the true screen & script hero of RRR. His screen presence, elegance, Royalty, Attire, Body Language, Looks have been asset for rrr, SSR shown ram charan in best plausible way.. ram charan voice / Dubbing alone is not quite apt for RRR’s 1920 as the voice sounds as fresh as dhruva or of 2022. NTR’s bheem performance is terrific, The way ntr adopted telangana slang and portrayed a tribal hero role is applaudable.. Muscle tight amazing body of ntr explains all his hard work for the film.. yet his hairstyle, makeup are not apt.. Costumes for both the heroes are big let down.. Antagonist Brit Givernor and his wife casted well along with the Brit girl Jenny.. alia Bhat, ajay Devgan, Little girl of tribe, Little boy & girl as Rama - seetha did their part for rest of the cast there is hardly much to do any in RRR. For the first time in SSR films you feel the cast is wasted.
