Some directors are successful with just one film before disappearing from view. One such director is venkatesh maha of "C/o Kancharapalem," whose initial film generated a lot of buzz before he created a remake of a malayalam film and later became an actor. In a recent interview, he vented his anger over his inability to come up with new ideas for movies and made some derogatory remarks.

"When I narrate stories, people often comment that they are over the top. The stories I've narrated, however, are not the popcorn flicks people were hoping for, but rather the truly good ones that ought to be made into movies. The first thing he said was, "Popcorn flicks are something people will miss out the plot even if they are hunting for popcorn in the tub but not watching the screen. people are watching the movies, he claimed, and taking away the wrong message while missing the positive aspects.

Then, without mentioning it by name, he shifts to harsh criticism of KGF. Will any mother in this world encourage her son to plunder all the riches in order to become a famous man, only for him to eventually throw that same gold into the ocean? He refers to the persona as "Neech Kamine Kutte" and says, "I want to meet that mother. One wonders if the filmmaker will even watch any other popular telugu movies, but his approach of decrying popular films and blaming the public is unacceptably offensive.

The interview had the likes of Nandini Reddy, Indraganti, vivek Athreya and shiva Nirvana attending it, and venkatesh maha states, "If we all take up a sword than a pen, we will make big blockbusters than anyone else out there". That is a blatant exaggeration because it is no joke to make commercial movies like Sukumar, Trvikram, and the renowned Rajamouli. However, none of the aforementioned directors have created genuine blockbusters.
