While most people just notice a tv ad or the song that goes with it, brands typically consider ways to break through. To kickoff their summer promotion, two huge soft drink brands have now come up with songs, but it looks like the crowd is not happy with them. ranveer singh, who recently gave up Thums Up, is featured in the summer advertising campaign for soft drink giant Pepsi in India. ranveer singh starred in this remix of an old hindi song. For him, a remix of the Jatin-Lalit song Yahaan Ke Hum Sikander from Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was made.

At the same time, tiger Shroff, a former Pepsi brand ambassador, appears in a Coca-Cola commercial singing the remix of Yeh Dillagi's Honthon Pe Bas. The fact that these remixes failed to connect is the biggest issue. Since Coke has a studio where they create independent music, many people wonder why they would choose an outdated remix that wouldn't appeal to the current age audience. Pepsi's original "Yeh dil Maange More" campaign was a tremendous success at the time, so it's unclear why they would choose a remake song now.

Perhaps this explains why neither tiger Shroff's nor Ranveer Singh's followers are very fond of these commercials. The brands ought to be aware of it, I suppose.
