An axe-wielding attacker attacked indian actor Aman Dhaliwal on thursday in a gym in california while he was being held hostage, and a video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The attacker is seen in the footage holding the actor's arm and brandishing a tomahawk while yelling for water while wearing a blue sweatshirt. "kindly show us respect. Water, please. I require water, "He sobs loudly. The 36-year-old actor stays calm the entire time as the assailant continues to shout at him.


He turns his back on Mr. Dhaliwal and yells, "You want to take advantage of me!" first at the actor and then at others in the gym. The 6-foot-tall actor seizes the opportunity to tackle the assailant to the ground as soon as the attacker shifts his focus away from Mr. Dhaliwal, as seen in the video. The attacker is quickly subdued by others who rush in. Per reports, the individual has been taken into custody. The event happened at a Planet Fitness gym, part of a chain in Grand Oaks, California. 

At the time of the alleged attack, Mr. Dhaliwal was purportedly working out at the gym. Pictures demonstrate that Mr. Dhaliwal suffered several wounds on his arms and torso. Also, images of him in the hospital with numerous bandages on his head, arms, and chest have gone viral. The actor is well known for his performance of Rajkumar Ratan Singh in the critically acclaimed bollywood film Jodhaa Akbar. Along with hollywood movies, the former model has also appeared in indian TV shows.
