78-day bonus for Railway Employees before Diwali!!!
Before Diwali, the central government has given a big gift for the railway employees. The government on saturday announced a bonus equal to 78 days' salary to railway employees. It will be paid to the employees before the dussehra holidays. However, RPF and RPSF personnel will not get its benefit.
In the official tweet issued by the Railways, it was told that this decision of the central government will benefit 11.27 lakh railway employees. Railways said that this bonus will be given to the employees before Dussehra. It is being told that due to this decision of the government, there will be a burden of more than Rs 1,832 crore on the Railways.
Bonus will increase the incentive of railway employees
Railways said that this bonus will act as an incentive for the employees. This will help a large number of railway employees, especially those performing and operating the railways, to improve their productivity. The payment of bonus will also give more boost to the festive season economy.
How much bonus will a railway employee get?
According to the information, 78 days bonus payment to railway employees is estimated to cost Rs 1,832.09 crore. The salary calculation limit prescribed for payment of Production Linked Bonus or PLB is Rs 7,000 per month. According to this, a railway employee will get a maximum bonus of Rs 17,951 for 78 days. However, last year also the employees were given bonus for 78 days.
