Here is a huge disappointment for Rajinikanth, Shankar and Robot fans. The makers have earlier planned to rope in Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the villain in the film. There were news that he is being paid a sensational amount to be a part of the film. But now they say it is not happening for some reason.
According to Kollywood media, the makers are in talks with Bollywood Star Hrithik Roshan to play this role. We are said that Hrithik is interested in this role but is yet to sign the dotted line. Robot-2 was recently launched with a formal pooja. The regular shooting will begin towards the end of this month.
The makers are erecting a huge set for the first schedule in the outskirts of Chennai. Amy Jackson is playing the female lead in this film and she will be seen as a Robot in the film. There are two other heroines in the film who are to be confirmed. The film is touted as the biggest-budgeted film in the history of Indian cinema,
