Sonam Kapoor is happy as she is getting praises for the role of flight attendant Neerja Bhanot for the movie 'Neerja'. She reprised role of Pan America flight attendant who lost her life trying to save the life of passengers from on board terrorists. The movie got released on 19th and it is receiving positive reviews.
The biopic is based on a real life incident which happened on 5th September 1986. Prashant Gupta did male lead along with Sonam Kapoor. Ram Madhvani directed the project and Atul Kasbekar produced it under Fox Star Studios banner.
Neerja's brother Aneesh Bhanot is now praise for the movie and he said, "I am flooded with phone calls, messages and Facebook posts across the country ever since the movie got released. This is quite overwhelming. The movie was made pretty well and Sonam Kapoor did justice to the role.
People have watched the movie across the world and everyone are either calling up or sending messages about her act of courage and how so many of them have been moved after watching the movie. Most of the survivors contacted me after this hijacking.".
