Under the directorial of AL Vijay, Jayam Ravi and Sayyeshaa Saigal have acted in Vana Magan. Jayam Ravi had acted as tribal man in the movie. Dream Big Studio and Kona Film Corporation have jointly bankrolled for the movie.
Actors like Prakash Raj, Thambi Ramaiah, Varun, Sam Paul, Vela Ramamoorthy, Sanjay Bharathy and Ramya Subrahmaniyam have acted in supporting roles. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music, which is his 50th movie.

Production team said to prevent VCD theft, actors association had decided to organize a strike and on May 30 shooting and cinema show will be cancelled and after that the movie will be released on June 23.
