Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is currently buoyed with the success of his most recent film, Manam. Critics and audience are appreciating his much improved acting skills and the actor is ecstatic about it. However there is still a thorn in the flesh of the actor and it is his Autonagar Surya film. The actor had put in so much of hardwork in to the film but it is lying in cans helplessly.
In an interview for the promotion of Manam, Chaitanya was asked about the release of his Autonagar Surya, a disappointed Chaitanya said, "Frankly speaking, I do not have much information about the film release. Even I am looking forwards for its release as soon as possible. But the only thing I can say is - I promise you that whenever that film releases, it would definitely be a hit".
The movie was left in cans for more than an year due to the bad financial situation of the makers. Every one including the fans almost lost their hopes on the movie. But the theatrical trailer release had changed it all. The trailer impressed one and all and the trade is showing good interest of the movie. But financial issues of the movie is hindering the release.
Samantha is the female lead beside Naga Chaitanya. 'Prasthanam' fame Deva Katta is wielding megaphone for this project which is being produced by K.Achi Reddy under Max India banner. RR Movie Makers is the presenter of the film. Anoop Rubens is composing the music.
