'Liger' is an upcoming indian sports Action Drama flick written and helmed by puri Jagannadh. The movie is jointly produced by karan johar, Charmme Kaur, apoorva mehta, yash JOHAR' target='_blank' title='hiroo yash johar-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>hiroo yash johar, and puri jagannadh under the banners of dharma productions and puri Connects. The movie is shot simultaneously in telugu and Hindi. vijay deverakonda does the lead role and ananya Panday does the female lead role.


Janhvi Kapoor was the first choice to portray female lead, but due to date issues, she was replaced by ananya Panday. This also marks her debut in Telugu. The team has delayed the movie due to the COVID wave. tanishk bagchi and mani sharma are composing tunes for the movie. ramya krishnan, ronit roy, Ali, makarand deshpande, getup srinu are part of the supporting cast. 


The teaser of the movie was supposed to release today as a treat for fans of vijay Deverakonda. But today the team issued a press release that the teaser has been postponed. However, the team assured and guaranteed that fans will witness vijay deverakonda in a never seen before avatar and they will not be disappointed. They also confirmed that the movie will be a theatrical release.
