'Pushpa' is an upcoming telugu action thriller movie written and directed by Sukumar. The movie is funded by naveen Yerneni and Y. ravi shankar of Mythri movie Makers banner along with Muttamsetty Media. allu arjun essays the lead role while rashmika mandanna does the female lead role. jagapathi babu, prakash raj, Dhananjay, and sunil are part of the supporting cast. devi sri prasad has composed tunes.


The technical team involves Miroslaw Kuba Brozek for Cinematography and Karthika srinivas for editing. Fahadh Faasil is doing the role of antagonist in this movie.  The movie is a Pan-India film and it was initially scheduled to release on august 13, 2021. But due to the ongoing COVID crisis just like other biggies, the delay was inevitable and the makers even planned to release the movie in two parts.


As we all knew, the shooting is stalled due to the pandemic and as per inside sources, the team has completed 80 percent of the shooting of the first part and 10 percent of the shooting of the second part. The rest of the shooting for the first part will be wrapped up in one month schedule and there are key scenes featuring Fahadh Faashil and Allu Arjun. The Mallu Actor's presence is essential in this last one month's schedule and we need to wait and see when will he join the team as he is already a busy actor.
