'KGF-2' should have been released by the 16th of this month, but the team has postponed the release as theaters are not yet reopened and many countries are again suffering from the new delta variant. Meanwhile, Countries like france are already facing the heat due to the third wave of COVID. So, the producers have confirmed that the sequel will be making its way only after things get back to normalcy and the government ensures 100% Occupancy in all states. 



Recently, only the state of telangana has given permission for a 100% occupancy while andhra pradesh has just permitted half of it. States like tamil Nadu, kerala have still not yet given permission to reopen the theaters themselves. 


So, considering all the heat and COVID situation around, the producers of KGF-2 have decided to postpone the release of the movie without mentioning a proper release date. But, the team has decided to give a catch by mentioning the movie will be released when 100% occupancy is given and there are speculations that the movie will be releasing as a christmas treat in all the five major regional languages such as tamil, telugu and so on.
