Tollywood film industry is in trouble...
In recent times, films like 'Pushpa' and 'RRR' have left a mark on tollywood all over the world. But now it seems that the difficulties are increasing in Tollywood. These days, there has been a debate in tollywood on issues like fees for industry stars and prices of cinema tickets. It is being told that the shooting of tollywood films will be stopped from august 1 till these issues are resolved.
Telugu films have had a share of 12-15 per cent at the indian box office. Dubbed films 'Pushpa', 'RRR' and 'KGF: Chapter 2' contribute 15-20 per cent to the box office collection of the hindi film industry. In such a situation, if these matters are not resolved, then there may be a period of loss in the indian film industry.
However, efforts are being made to settle these situations soon. In a statement, the Producers Guild officials said, “It is our responsibility to improve our eco-system and ensure that we release our films in a healthy environment. In this regard, all the Producers of the Guild have volunteered. It has been decided to stop the shooting from august 1, 2022."
