The Film Chamber of Commerce declared on sunday that tollywood producers would halt shooting movies as of Monday. In Hyderabad, the Film Chamber's general body meeting voted to uphold the Active telugu Producers Guild's (ATPG) earlier decision to halt film production as of august 1. The shoots won't restart until they find a solution, according to renowned producer dil Raju, who stated they will get down and address the issues.

The decision to halt filming for a few days was made at the meeting, according to Basi Reddy, the new president of the Film Chamber. The 48 members present at the meeting decided to suspend production of all films, including those that are currently in post-production as well as new ones. The ruling will have no effect on the filming of other language films in Hyderabad, though. Production of movies starring top actors Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, junior NTR, Prabhas, and Vijay Devarkonda may be halted as a result of the decision.

The telugu film business, according to representatives of the Film Chamber, is going through a difficult time right now, and producers, distributors, exhibitors, and everyone else are not happy. A conference will be held shortly to examine the challenges they are facing and to decide what steps should be done to restart the film business. All 24 filmmaking specialties will participate in the consultations. Reporters were informed of the decision by dil Raju, who cited a number of factors including declining theatre attendance, rising ticket prices, new releases on OTT, and rising production costs.
