This is the reason why this small-budget film is doing tremendously at the box office. The film has earned a lot from its opening till now and now its eighth-day collection has also come to the fore, although now there has been a decline in the film's earnings.
Thiruchitrambalam has been made at a cost of around 30 crores. The film did a great collection on its first weekend. So far this film has collected almost double its cost, although Vijay Deverakonda's film 'Liger' has also been released on august 25, due to which Dhanush's film's collection is seen to be affected and its collection compared to the seventh day. Earnings have come down considerably.
Dhanush's 'Thiruchitrambalam' did a bumper opening on the first day and did a total of Rs 9.52 crore, which was a tremendous opening according to its budget. After this, on the second day as well, the film earned 8.79 crores, on the third day 10.24 crores, on the fourth day 11.03 crores and the fifth day i.e. on the first Monday, there was some decrease in the film's earnings and it earned Rs 4.16 crores.
After this, on Tuesday, the film collected around 3.10 crores on Wednesday. There was a significant drop in earnings on Thursday, according to which 'Thiruchitrambalam' collected only 2.12 crores on the eighth day.
Thiruchitrambalam may have earned less on the eighth day but the film has so far done a total business of about 52 crores. dhanush and Nithya menon are in the lead roles in this film while Prakash Raj, Rashi Khanna, and priya bhavani shankar are also in important roles. In the film directed by Mithran Jawahar, dhanush plays the role of a delivery boy while Nithya menon plays his best friend.
