The largest endeavour of his career is akhil Akkineni's Agent. It is being made available as a pan-Indian effort in several languages. Action aficionados are in for a treat because, according to the filmmakers, the movie was shot on a never-before-seen scale. Although the producers continue to say that the movie will premiere on april 28, there are rumours in the business that there is still some work to be done and "Agent" may or may not open on schedule.

The buzz surrounding the movie has significantly decreased as a result of this uncertainty and the failure of the two songs. If the movie is launching on april 28th, the producers need to get serious and start aggressively promoting the movie. The movie won't be out for another 18 days at most. The so-called Pan-Indian films from Tollywood, as we recently witnessed, failed to make even a minimal effect in other languages.

Though Das ka Dhamki by Vishwak Sen was advertised as a pan-Indian movie, nobody outside of the Telugu-speaking regions was even aware it existed. In other states, Vishwak Sen did not conduct even a single film promotion interview. nani made a concerted effort to spread the word about Dasara, particularly in the North Belt. The movie failed to bring in even 2 crores despite extensive promotion and favourable word of mouth in the North. The makers of "Agent" need to use all available resources to revive the film's waning buzz in telugu states and raise awareness of it in other markets because time is running out.
