Every single fan of Rajinikanth is relieved and beaming thanks to Jailer's enormous success. The movie broke several previous records and became a kollywood smash. One of the biggest comebacks ever, Jailer demonstrated once more why Rajini is unquestionably the king of Kollywood.

The blockbuster success is mostly credited to Rajinikanth's captivating on-screen persona, Anirudh's infectious soundtrack, and the jaw-dropping appearances of mohanlal and Shivarajkumar. On the other side, the film's director, Nelson Dileepkumar, hasn't exactly gotten much recognition or praise. Many others thought that Rajini was the star of the entire production, and that Supestar's aura and performance, especially in the second half, more than made up for the screenplay's flaws and inadequacies.

The lack of emotional scenes, Sunil's track, and the uneven scripting were some of the film's startling flaws. With the help of Anirudh's BGM, Nelson was able to portray Rajini in the greatest light possible. In contrast, Kamal Hassan and lokesh kanagaraj both received credit for Vikram, and Lokesh's fanbase and market both grew. The youthful director, who is presently Kollywood's most popular and in-demand director, was able to establish one of tamil cinema's most recognisable brands. Sadly, Nelson does not fit this description despite having delivered an industry smash.
