Myositis, an autoimmune disease, has been identified as samantha Ruth Prabhu's ailment. The actress first disclosed her health problem on social media in november of last year, and she has been extremely open about it ever since, raising awareness. She has now advanced and assumed the role of the spokesperson for Myositis India, a group that promotes myositis awareness.
Samantha has been chosen to serve as the group's brand ambassador, according to a social media post from Myositis India's official page. In order to concentrate on her health, samantha had taken a sabbatical from work for over six months. She will shortly receive therapy in the US for myositis, an autoimmune disease. For the duration of the therapy, she intends to stay in the US for around two months with her mother.


Samantha and her team, however, have not formally verified this news. In terms of her career, samantha will soon release the Vijay Deverakonda-starring film Kushi.
