The creators' announcement of the new release date reignited the hype and excitement surrounding Prabhas' much awaited action thriller "Salaar." In the meantime, this past weekend saw the commencement of another curious piece of information emerging on social media, which has led to additional rumours about this prashanth neel directional.

According to reports, Neel's 2014 action movie Ugramm was abruptly taken off from YouTube. Since the start of Salaar, there have been allegations that Neel is recreating his own movie, making some modifications to the screenplay, and casting prabhas in the starring part. As a result, this has been a hot subject among everyone.

Although Neel expressly emphasised that Salaar is a new narrative during his media appearances at the time of kgf 2's release, the similarities between the first look posters and the plot's setting have perpetuated these theories ever since. They now have more weight because Hombale Films quickly pulled Ugramm from YouTube the day after it was formally confirmed that Salaar would be released.

For those who are unfamiliar, Ugramm is about a man who struggles between his friend's pleas for him to take on the criminal organisation and put an end to their crimes and the pledges he made to his mother to live a life devoid of violence. Salaar is also said to contain a comparable plot with significant character changes.

Salaar is once again the subject of speculations while Ugramm is trending on social media. Many have begun to claim that Neel is delivering an improved version of Ugramm with prabhas playing a part that is larger than life. It's also important to remember that there have been ideas for a Veeram sequel to Ugramm for a few years now. It never progressed past the discussion stage, though.
