"Leo," the Tamil-language action thriller directed by lokesh kanagaraj and starring the iconic Thalapathy Vijay, hit theatres on october 19. Produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and jagadish Palanisamy, the film's telugu and Hindi-dubbed versions were also released on the same day.

This action movie brings together an ensemble cast featuring Vijay in the titular role, alongside renowned talents such as Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor ali Khan, and priya Anand.

In a recent update from the film industry tracker manobala Vijayabalan's X post, it has been revealed that "Leo" at the tamil Nadu box office crossed the ₹50 crore mark in the state on its third day of release. However, the film faced a surprising setback, as it failed to show any improvement in earnings even on Saturday.

This stands in contrast to Rajinikanth's "Jailer," which managed to mint an impressive ₹76.09 crore in its first three days of running. The negative word of mouth (WoM) surrounding "Leo" seems to be impacting its performance. The film's box office figures for the initial three days are as follows: ₹27.63 crore on Day 1, ₹15.95 crore on Day 2, and ₹13.32 crore on Day 3, resulting in a total of ₹56.90 crore.
