Telangana’s Panjagutta police arrested Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 fame telugu actor Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari on the charges of abetment of the suicide of a 34 year old woman. He has been currently sent to the judicial remand. The woman’s father has filed a complaint with the police that Jagadeesh cheated and also harassed her.

As per the police, he directed some short films at the beginning of his career. Reportedly, at that time, a lady had met Jagadeesh. She worked at a private firm and was also interested in short films. This acquaintance later reportedly culminated in a romantic relationship between them. They parted ways after briefly being in a relationship. Meanwhile, Jagadeesh started sending her private pictures and harassed her. She was allegedly upset with the harassment and died by suicide, as per reports.

On a complaint from her father, Panjagutta police started a probe. They said that further investigation is on regarding the case. It is not known whether there was an altercation between the couple about the marriage or not.

Jagadeesh had shot to fame with his acting skills in the role of Kesava, Pushpa’s friend in the film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1. He also has a full-length role in the second instalment of the pushpa franchise. He had been missing for the past 1 week and was finally nabbed by the police on december 6. A report by Track tollywood mentioned that the woman, who died by suicide, was a junior artist in films. The report also claimed that Jagadeesh had clicked the woman’s pictures without her consent. Meanwhile, Jagadeesh’s upcoming film Extra Ordinary Man, written and directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, will be released at the theatres on december 8. This film boasts a stellar cast starring Nithiin, Sreeleela, Sudev Nair, rohini and others. Aditya Productions & Entertainment, Ruchira Entertainment and Sreshth Movies have produced Extra Ordinary Man.

Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari last acted in the film Satthi Gaani Rendu Yekaralu which received mixed reviews from the audience. Abhinav Danda wrote and directed it. Aneesha Dama, vennela Kishore, Vamshidhar Goud and others acted in the film.
