Vikrant Massey had a preconceived notion about sara Ali Khan that the actress might give a lot of priority to “hair and makeup”. However, when the two worked together on Gaslight with Chitrangada Singh, Vikrant realised Sara’s mettle. He opened up about this in an interview and said that he had also apologised to the actress. The video has now resurfaced on Reddit and has gone viral in no time.
Vikrant said in the video, “Unfortunately, all of us have preconceived notions and there is a sense of understanding of, we’ve heard about it, nepotism and privilege. Especially in the last two or three years, it was right up there. Every conversation was about this. And I fell prey to that too! And a lot of what you end up believing also depends on the noise and people around you. A part of me did feel like, you know, star hai, popular star hai. “That’s unfair, of course. I realised this in the first second when I saw the number of hours she put in and what she prioritised as an actor. I think I was really impressed and I also apologise for having that thought,” he added. sara reacted and said that she didn’t remember Vikrant apologising but she doesn’t blame him for his notions. She said, “I’m used to this, a little bit. I understand where I come from, who I am. There are preconceived notions attached to it and that doesn’t bother me.”
