Well, Samantha who is out of the radar for few months is back into the game. Currently, she works for two big Tamil projects and a famous horror sequel in Telugu along with her father-in-law Nagarjuna Akkineni.
Her next big project would be the much-awaited biopic based on the life and legacy of legendary yesteryear heroine Savithri. The movie was titled as 'Mahanati'. Now, her role in the movie is revealed and it is going to be a short one. She will be seen as a journalist who researches about Savithri.
While Keerthi Suresh herself would be reprising the role of Savithri in this period drama. Nag Ahswin is currently shaping the role of Samantha's character based on the 1980's journalists. The whole story of Savithri would be narrated through Samantha's character.
