1.   Rain-hit mango growers look to CM for help :    Chittoor District Mango Growers’ Forum convener B.N. Nageswara Rao on Tuesday appealed to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to take immediate steps to announce remunerative price for the mango produce and rescue the growers as gales and rain during the last two days caused extensive damage to thousands of tonnes of mangoes.
2.  Ensure visible policing: SP :  SP A. Ravikrishna directed the police officials on Tuesday to conduct cordon searches and intensive checks in lodges and at bus stands and railway stations for better maintenance of law and order.
3.  Naidu is a ‘brand’ for corruption: Bhumana :  YSR Congress general secretary Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is a brand for “corruption and irregularities” and not “development and investment” as is being claimed.
